Why are my lights flickering ?

This can manifest in various ways. First, determine whether the entire house lighting is flickering or if it is isolated to a specific room. If the issue is isolated to a single room, it is likely that you recently installed new LED bulbs in the chandelier with the existing dimmer. However, most LED bulbs are incompatible with traditional dimmers, necessitating one of three actions: 1. Replace LED bulbs with conventional bulbs 2. Upgrade the existing dimmer to a new LED-rated dimmer 3. Remove the dimmer and install a conventional on/off switch In the event that the entire house is flickering, it is more probable that there is a service issue, and contacting an electrician may be warranted. However, before taking such action, consider the following steps: 1. Inquire with your neighboring households to ascertain if they are experiencing similar symptoms. If neighboring households are experiencing similar issues, it is likely a PECO problem. 2. Contact PECO, even if neighboring households are not experiencing the same issues as you. Contacting PECO is complimentary, and they will conduct an inspection to rule out any issues on their end. If PECO has determined that there is no fault on their end, please contact us.
